Small businesses have the challenge of cutting through difficult markets and often very local competition. In this case the reach would be smaller but more focussed so the content has to be better.

Saying that, so long as you are relevant and your content lives in the right places it will get seen and be interacted with.

Re: If Content is King then how can it rule without a Queen?

Interesting post,

Do you think that the same online approach is imperative for small start up businesses as well as big brands?

Re: If Content is King then how can it rule without a Queen?

Interesting post Onur,

Thanks for the awesome post on link building.

I love your analogy of going to a party and sounding interesting! I personally spend time each week commenting on blogs I value, which bring in links in a natural manner.
Most of my online tribe syndication community use CommentLuv which creates a big incentive for people to leave comments. Sites using KeywordLuv are also a great way to build links.

The easiest way to find these blogs is to enter the following code into your google search box:
inurl:KEYWORD “This site uses KeywordLuv. EnterYourName@YourKeywords in the Name field to take advantage”

AND:
inurl:KEYWORD “Enable CommentLuv”

You can also get .edu & .gov links by typing in:

site:.edu + "KEYWORD" + blog

or

site:.gov + "KEYWORD" + forum

Although I must say, depending on your niche, relevant .gov links can be hard to find.

Re: About Onur

Found a lot of interest in you.

Re: Is Alternative the new Pop?

it cannot be alternative or different and be mainstream.

We are circling an era of individuals.. of personal wants... with a brand or product one needs to be universal and ambedextrous.

peace out
